Acne is a skin condition caused by overproduction of sebum in the hair follicles, leading to pimples, cysts and nodules of the face, neck and back.
The buds are formed when the follicle is attacked by P. acne bacteria. A damaged follicle weakens and bursts, releasing sebum, bacteria, skin cells and white blood cells to surrounding tissues.
Minimizing the production of sebum, exfoliation of dead skin cells, destroying bacteria and preventing their development. The goal in the treatment of acne is to reduce inflammation in the skin.
